tobyMac's The Elements debuts at No. 1 on Billboard'Top Christian Albumschart (dated Oct. 27), earning 22,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 18, according to Nielsen Music. Of that total sum, 18,000 are from traditional album sales.

tobyMac co-produced the 11-track Elements with Bryan Fowler and David Garcia, the latter of whom who co-produced Carrie Underwood's new album, Cry Pretty.
Elements lead single "I Just Need U" debuted atop Billboard's airplay, streaming and sales-fueled Hot Christian Songs chart back on Jan. 20, becoming tobyMac's sixth No. 1 on the tally and his first to arrive on top. "U" also ruled Christian Airplay for two weeks beginning March 31.

Second Elements single "Everything" bumps 7-6 for a new peak on Hot Christian Songs. On Christian Airplay, it pushes 6-5, increasing by 10 percent to 8.2 million audience impressions in the week ending Oct. 23.
In between Elements and Test, tobyMac released Hits Deep Live, featuring tracks recorded on his 2016 tour. The set debuted and peaked at No. 13 that December. Light of Christmas, a collection of previously-released holiday fare, followed, reaching No. 31 last November.
tobyMac first appeared on Top Christian Albums in 2001 with Momentum, which debuted at its No. 8 peak.
TYLER TOP 10: Singer-songwriter Micah Tyler earns his third total and consecutive Hot Christian Songs top 10, as "Even Then" darts 12-9. The track climbs 9-7 on Christian Airplay (7.1 million in audience, up less than 1 percent) and gains by 5 percent to 452,000 U.S. streams.
Tyler previously hit the Hot Christian Songs top 10 with "Different," which reached No. 7 in January, and "Never Been a Moment" (No. 6, April 2017)
