This Is Tata Oswald, Cameroon's Up Coming Gospel Afro Act.



TN Oswald is a Cameroon-based Afro-gospel artist, multi-instrumentalist, song writer, composer and music tutor. Music has been a part of him since childhood, as hitting kitchen utensils was one of his greatest hobby. He got into music in 2007 as a drummer . As time went on he moved to the keyboard, bass guitar, and lead guitar. He was given the post of the music prefect of Joseph Merrick Baptist College Ndu while in high school. The effects of his reign in this capacity still remain up till date. 

In 2015 when he decided to take music as a career, he took a nine month music training program at FAMUC INTERNATIONAL (Faith Music International) which increased and boosted his knowledge in the music field. 

 TN Oswald has been part of several Musical bands including FBC Ndu music team, The Living Rock Music Band, Praise Out Music Crew, and MBC (Macedonia Baptist Church) Music Team, where he served music director. His full devotion an outstanding uniqueness both as a singer and an instrumentalist is commended by many. His first official song;" LAYE LAYE" was released in December 2017. 

This was an Afro piece in the Limbum dialect ft Blackshuga and Emma Keys. This song set the foundation for his artist career as his fans appreciated the cultural taste that it brought for Christmas. His latest hit song, "WATER" released in August 2018, tells the story of Jesus and the woman at the well in an irresistible and dance able Afro beat style unique to him. 

 Presently he is doing more writing, recording new songs and preparing to shoot the videos for his already released audio songs. He is enrolled at the Catholic University studying music production, music business and entre entrepreneurship. He’s also assembling able singers and instrumentalists to make up his music band. He is a music facilitator and holds the position of the director of Ewald Music Academy Buea

As part of his own personal growth strategy he is taking a 3 months vocal journey with some of his students that ends in December aimed at doubling their vocals at the end of it. He finds pleasure in sharing his music ideas others. Out of music, TN Oswald loves comedy and has the gift of being happy as you will always see him jovial. With people like Oswald who put in all they have to see Christian music take back its place, there is hope for the 237 gospel industry.
